Yah. Bad news watching manufacturing jobs go down the tubes. I'm glad it's not my area, nor will it be my children's if I can help it.

"Some of those kids who are victims of smuggling rings, like Ng Lap Seng's, end up in Macao brothels, some end up in brothels other places, such as Canada and the US. Some may end up sold as "brides."

Kind of like what happens to "escorts" traveling overseas to those foreign places. It is not enough to just simply understand their culture and language. I feel for those children who get caught up in these smuggling operations.

I believe that there a lot more of those women in those Macao brothels held against their will than we realize. It's just down right criminal. Especially, when the embassy for those held against their will won't come to their aid when their passports are taken from them by these criminal pimping operations.

That's a hell of an article, Patriot...

Back in November 2001, when the poster of that article wrote the essay, everyone, including the CIA, was publically proclaiming that indeed, China would be the greatest economic powerhouse in the world by 2015.

Now, 5 years later, obviously this may not come true because the United States, her allies, as well as China's competitors, have all done their homework.

Times certainly have changed since 2001.
