"For more than 3 1/2 years, he had been holed up in his house in Eagar, threatening to kill police officers and federal agents," said Mark Potok of the Southern Poverty Law Center. "He was talked about as a guy who talked crazy and made a lot of threats. The reality is that people like him are frequently exceedingly dangerous."

Oh, great...the Morris "Sleaze" Dees contingent weighs in once again.

Talk about inciting paranoia. The SPLC, an influential group of smear artists, worked back in 1999 WITH the Feds hoping to arouse governmental and public fear against militia groups and Christians with their disgusting "Project Megiddo", frantically trying to make a case to bring public sentiment against people who viewed Y2K as some form of "end-of-the-world" vision.

They established so-called "evidence" that these people who basically just wanted big government and intruders to leave them the hell alone were all set to carry out terrorist acts against America in order to bring about their vision of Armageddon.

It didn't happen, of course...neither the end of the world...NOR some kind of militia terrorist activity. I'm sure that was a real blow to those sons-of-witches at the SPLC, who have been trying for quite some time now to instill terror of the Second Amendment in the hearts of American citizens.

If we're assessing credibility...better take a close look at the SPLC socialist goon squad. With their ability to get the Feds working with them on anti-Constitutional crapaganda, they're in better position to bring our country under the boot of tyranny than Bill Cooper ever was of inciting riots and violence. And boy, do they ever want to subterfuge that bit of information.

(And have you noticed yet that no-one identified the name of the "militia" which Bill Cooper supposedly "led"?)
