Do you really think that they care? They live while the defenders of their rights get the life sucked out of themselves. There is just something wrong in this picture.

It like a kid getting an expensive toy before he is mature enough to appreciate it or a 7 year old with a 9mm.

That is a FAE or "Fuel-air explosive".....but you probably allready knew that. They have those with explosive forces up in the 1000's of kiloton range! Love that picture.

Public housing, public schools, and public transportation is so awful, so wretched, that you'd think NO ONE, NO ONE, would EVER, EVER trust a Liberal. The problem is that they are all whacked out on government cheese. They're weak, and they're scared.

So what, I guess I can't have an opinion because I just stumbled upon this oasis in the desert that is the Internet? I will still be here in a year, and my opinion on the economy will remain the same.

Sorry, my fault. I am actually refering to the 'global economy'. In the last 20 years when international trade has come into prominance. No defense of Carter or his economic platform here.

Sorry, I should have clarified. I meant in the last 20 years, and IN general. You don't have to agree with my opinion, but I believe that more liberal economic stratagies work better in the global economy THAT IS THE REALITY, like it or not.

The bomb shown in the last figure of #22 is a fuel air explosive, not a BLU-82. FAEs are nice too of course.

"Sarcasm like that will get you a job at CNN."

Thanks but no thanks. I'll stick to something more honorable--like bilking churches and charities. ;^)

more liberal economic stratagies work better in the global economy ...if you want socialism.

Of course, YOU do want socialism. Listen child, there is nothing preventing you from spending as much of your time and resources as you wish on any cause you see fit to spend on...repeat- there is nothing preventing you from spending your money on whatever you like.

Why then do you attempt to force others to do so? Ahhh yes. The liberal way...

Use government to make others pay for things you don't want to pay for yourself.

Selfish. Lazy. Liberal.

You're not among liberal, blathering idiots on this "oasis" of the internet. Go back to your liberal site where you don't have to back-up anything you say- you'll do far better there.

Exactly! Social Democrats want to save the world with other peoples money not theirs..Charity should be voluntary not imposed.

One good thing about this terrorist war is the US and it's people will have to rethink it's priorities. Government's primary function is to protect it's people from enemies foreign and domestic, not from their own stupidity, laziness or addictions. Funds will have to be spent on protection, not pork barrels...(unless we drop them on Muslems).....

"I will still be here in a year, and my opinion on the economy will remain the same."

You better have some really good asbestos underwear. Your philosophy will get you flamed, and the instant you spew your first Democrat talking point, you'll be relegated to the dustbin of FR.

We've seen your kind come and go 1,000 times before you. What makes you think you're special, troll?

15000lbs for $27000 is by far pound for pound the best value out there. I can't even buy hamburger meat this cheaply. One thing is for certain, if we drop enough of these there will be greatly decreased demand for those humanitarian rations.

I was thinking the same thing - heckuva return on that investment. I like the hamburger analogy. Interestingly, when we use the BLU-82s, "hamburger" is a byproduct!

Who is forceing anything on anyone? If your view of socialism is anything and everything left of you, fine, then it's SOCIALISM. This has nothing to do with me spending my money however. It has everything to do with me opening my eyes to the reality that:
  1. I have never been shown proof that the way that Reagan, Bushx2 ran the economy was BETTER than the way is has run during the 8 years of Klinton.
  2. any comment that does not EXACTLY agree with the group-think on the board is clearly not welcome.

Why is that? If I am so incorrect, please correct me! Resorting to name calling, and using the 'dirty s word' aren't going to change my belief, but maybe some hard facts will! I am a liberal when it comes to most social policy, foriegn policy, etc. Help me become one when it comes to the economy!

It was not a troll. I am here because I believe in many of the things that you and everyone else here believe. I just didn't realize that NOT believeing all of them would be so 'socialist' or 'democratic'. I will gladly change my opinion, as unlike some here, I am open to change. Maybe people would consider that to be too democratic as well.
