A shame.

Johnson gets what 3 wins? Thats got to be a World Series Record. 3 out of 4.

I dunno. I'm kinda on a pro-New York kick right now. This is a little disappointing for me.

Great game - pity Yanks had to lose, but credit to the DBs

I generally despise the Yankees, but I'm with you. The bin Ladens are happy with this outcome. A team from the desert deals another blow to mighty Gotham.

Beautiful game. Down by a run in the 9th, Arizona fights back and wins in sudden death play. My hat is off to the Yankees, too. They did the same thing to Arizona twice. The third time was the charm for the D-Backs.
This will rate as one of the most classic series of all time. Curt the hurt pitched a gem again and doesn't get a decision. But, you know what, he doesn't care. In some ways he, even more than Johnson has a claim for series MVP.

Like I've seen written elsewhere....If the terrorist attack on New York means that you start pulling for the Yankees....then the terrorist have won. It was a great series, congrats to the Diamondbacks!

The bin Ladens are happy with this outcome. Tell me your kidding. Bin Laden is hiding is some cave somewhere with bombs dropping all around and we were just treated to an exciting and fun World Series.
God Bless America and congrats to the DBs.

Unfortunately I had to work, but listened to radio. It sounded like an excellent game. Congrats D-backs and fans.

The bin Ladens are happy with this outcome Knock it off, you wet blanket! Remember I called games 4 & 5 before the 9th was over? I'm going to make another prediction: Just to show their class, Arizona is going to vote to donate a portion of their winner's share to relief of NY's attack. There was no doubt both these teams deserved to be here and Arizona was the better of the two, but barely.

I just kept thinking how cool (and classy) it would be for the yanks to come out and stand on the first base line to applaude the winners...

The bin Ladens are happy with this outcomeI heard of some sore loser b.s. before, but equating D-Back fans with bin Laden and the Taliban? That has to be the most idiotic comment I've seen in awhile. Take some meds and go pass out somewhere.

YANKEES SUCK!!
Thanks to the DB's for keeping the worst World Series team ever from winning (14 runs in 7 games..PATHETIC)..
