The Arabs are good at sneak attacks, that's for sure. In mano-el-mano battle though, they appear to be either stupid or cowards or both.

It is so interesting that they chose Yom Kippur. It was acutually helpful to Israel in its defense. There is much written about it.

Israel is attacked by the Israel bashers concerning U.S. aid (late in coming) to Israel. In the meantime they remain muted concerning the massive arming the Soviets had been doing for Syria and Egypt. Israel showed, however, what it could do with those arms routing the Egyptians in the tank battle in the Sinai; surrounding the Egyptian Third Army; pushing within artillery range of Damascus, etc. That's the kind of ally I want.

Yeah, I am glad it will keep raining bombs during ramadan. Hey we might even throw in some more to really get the party going.
Also, when reading about how the Israeli soldiers stood and fight, it's good to have 'em on our side! Why the US governement comes down on them lately about the Palestenian affair in beyond me. They are our allies for decades and they feel very connected to the USA. The governement shouldn't tell Israel to ease up with the Palestians (especially when their leader is a known terrorist himself), they should send in more aid to counter these terrorists!
By the way I just got the news that a Palestinian gunman fired at an Israeli bus killing some civilians. Nice people, these Palestinians, he?

Here's what the Koran says about fighting during Ramadan:
They ask you about the sacred month. Say: 'To fight in this month is a grave offence; but to debar others from the path of Allah, to deny Him, and to expel His worshippers from the Holy Mosque, is far more grave in His sight. Idolatry is more grievous than bloodshed. Sura 2:217
