The story of the investigation is fascinating. The manual is VERY scary, and REALLY makes you wonder why more investigation wasn't done into these people BEFORE 9/11....and why we are still letting them in, and aren't sending more of them home NOW.

Thanks for that link. NY Times article seems to explain why the hijackers spent so much time in Vegas. Amazing they didn't think the added cost of round-trip tickets was worth the investment.

I suspect Atta and his friend deliberately showed up at the last minute for their flight in Portland. I think Atta was already sick with anthrax at that point, and that the last-minute rush was to be his excuse for sweating so much.
