thank you for that...i'm new here and don't fully understand what is and isn't acceptable. Is it o.k. to continue to 'bump' a thread just to keep it alive when interest (at least for the moment) seems to be lagging?

I have known of two homeless ex Navy Seals in Santa Monica, CA. I know they were real because I have friend was an actual seal & he verifed they were as well. Apparently, it is not that uncommon for these guys to end up like that...they have seen alot and some just cannot cope in "the real world". Both seemed very happy living on the streets.

"We cry high and mighty and civilized...but sh$# like this happens all the time. This society has no tolerance for outcasts...and is very uncreative at solving the problem. And the doctors treating these people are often to simpleminded to do them any good."
Cavalry: You dare now to mock Viet Nam Vets also!
You have unanswered questions about your anti-American,
pro Taliban statements on this thread.
Oh, I noticed on another thread you were bashing the Culver City police.

Thanks for the ping 'Yatch'
This "city code enforcer" needs an attitude adjustment, and I hope someone will deliver it soon.
What is it about 'Nam vets that breeds such hatred and bigotry toward them?

"Is it o.k. to continue to 'bump' a thread just to keep it alive when interest (at least for the moment) seems to be lagging?" You bet it is; keep on bumping!
This is just the kind of thread that most deserves attention.

I see you've already been answered. So I'll just leave this for you before I sign off for the night. (-:

"Both seemed very happy living on the streets."That would seem fine, but where the they urinate? Defecate? And how do they eat? By pandhandling?
I'm not sure whether the City Of Santa Monica ever did anything about the army of bums - most of them young, physically able males...often imposing, and just as agressive...including many so-called "Homeless veterans" - that took over the oceanfront and Third Street Promenade out there, because we haven't been back since, even though we live just west of there...in Hollywood, for God's sake!
