You, as another child's parent, have NO right whatsoever to dictate what my children read. If I want my children to read 'Heather has Two Mommies' and 'Harry Potter', there's not a heck of a lot you can do about it.
As for Harry Potter, it's harmless fantasy. When I was 10, I was a big fan of Dungeons and Dragons. I'm a Christian today. However, there are some so-called "religious righties" that are scared silly that someone, somewhere is having fun outside of a church setting. That's all the silly anti-Potter flap is about.
As for "Up" Chuck Morse, he's appears to be a
