I saved as many as I could to my photo point album I made just about the attack. I will never forget either.
Thank you for your post.

Here's one of the critical pictures I missed: the doomed.
I don't know if you (or others) have seen that photographer named Handschuh (sp?)
who's been on DateLine NBC. I think he's a long-term photographer with the
New York Daily News...and he arrived on the scene soon after the first plane-strike.
He said that he had photos that he'll "never show to anyone".
He eventually was hurled about the distance of a city block during one of the
WTC tower collapses, shattered one leg and was saved by firefighters...and photographed
in agony and pain by a fellow photographer.
I caught him and a couple other NYC professional photographers on The Charlie
Rose Show yesterday. Handschuh said that one of his photographs had been sent out
by his newspaper to a custom lab to make a highest-quality print.
The photo-technician called back and told them about a very small...but clear detail of the photo.
The image was shown (suprising to me) on the Rose show..and it is a photo of debris
on it's way to the ground, but the remainder of the tower is not yet collapsed, so
you basically see this falling junk in front of the tower...which is just about to also fall.
And on one piece of the falling debris (presumably from one of the top floors)
is the image of what looks like a man holding on to the metal...taking his final ride
to the bottom of the WTC.
Another chilling image...that no real American will ever forget.

Thanks Trav - outstanding memorial for souls, and a day, never to be forgotten. Each time I see these pictures and others like them, my hatred for the vacuousness of the terrorists beliefs intensifies - and my resolve to do everything I can to assist in their demise grows stronger.
Eagles Up - Brother!!
