You're the one that needs to read posts more carefully. I was responding to YOUR statement, not his. Just because the Dutch can't be blamed for this incident or the atmosphere that encourages it doesn't mean the framers of apartheid weren't slime.

And the Africans are now in SOOOO much better stead now that the Dutch
"slime" have moved on. You proudly announce that you are black, and that pleases me because
you obviously are conservative enough to enjoy FR. But tell me, please,
how long did you live under the regime of the Dutch "slime?"

Those “slime” as you call them, built the most modern, advanced, and productive civilization the African continent has seen in millennia.

All the Africans had to do after the “slime” GAVE them a PRE-BUILT civilization was to continue moving forward.

All the [Black] ruling class can do now is move backward.

I don’t know how much you know about post-apartheid South Africa but things are no better if not worse for most Black South Africans.

The new post-apartheid government (read Black leaders) are STILL bulldozing homelands and townships and displacing thousands of Black South Africans. Unemployment is now HIGHER for Blacks because of the loss of industries which have pulled out. The ONLY ones who have benefited are the Black ruling class and all they are preaching is that the "revolution" (read "confiscation" of white wealth for themselves) must keep going.

The ONLY difference between the apartheid “slime” and the ruling Black class today is that you don’t read about the social and political crimes of the latter. Nor is their any world movement fighting the new injustice.

As Orwell told us, you really can’t tell the new regime from the old regime.

They were NOT " slime ", and IF you knew history, and some facts, you just MIGHT have a better idea about what you are talking about. For the most part, the Boers , after THE LONG TREK , settled land that NO ONE even lived on , went through. They turned that into a bountiful, CIVILIZED country,that woud NEVER have been made fertle, ueful, and beauiful without them.
