Flirting with the Islamicist extremists who bill themselves as "spokesmen" for the American Muslim community in order to get more votes will profoundly corrupt the Republican Party and be a disaster for America. For one thing, it will take the Republican Party not simply in an anti-Israel direction, but in a direction inimical to Western Civilization itself. America already has one party dedicated to the destruction of our moral, religious and political heritage. She will be doomed with two such parties.
