I'm emailing this one to a couple of liberal, NPR-listening coworkers who are wondering aloud if this isn't just another case of "U.S. imperialism." They've forgotten WTC altogether - they have to, otherwise our actions don't fit into their tidy little mental model of the world.
I've said it on other threads, and I have to admit it's starting to get to me - if you want to read ANY anti-Taliban statement, ANY critique of the Al Q'eda murderers, ANY praise of U.S. military personnel, you have to go to the foreign press, and I think that is utterly disgusting.
Well, I did email it to my most liberal friend. You should have heard the screams! God, it was sweet...BTT. I haven't had that much fun in a long, long time.
