"Dr. Hathout described the Koran passages as nothing more than folklore, saying that such descriptions of Paradise aren't meant to be taken literally, just as many Christians do not really believe heaven has "streets paved with gold." Is this a generalization, or has he personally been told this by "many Christians"?

Golden streets in heaven is a far cry from 'The smallest reward for the people of Paradise is an abode where there are 80,000 servants and 72 wives...'
The Muslim view of Heaven is cruel oppression for the majority of the dwellers.... the servants and wives. I have absolutely no respect for anyone who aspires to be rewarded in this way. Truly it is a promise from hell's own satan.
