I bet this story is true. I also bet there is a boomer lurking in the Indian Ocean with an SLBM already programmed with the target coordinates in Pakistan . . . "just in case."

They are right of coarse...As Zog states we will have contingency plans for (almost) all options. It doesn't mean action is imminant. Perhaps this is just to assure the british that in case of trouble we will devote much effort to assuring their safety from a crude nuke from Pakistan launched via scud-b or c.
