I really do pray you are both right. Right here right now I PRAY. The evidence is not good however. The moral is drooping. The taliban are getting better press. The taliban are having military successes. Those ragged vermin should not be able to fart successfully at this time. We are failing on several fronts.

I agree. Besides the fact that the Taliban are even holding their ground, we've got our top commanders on TV saying stuff like 'we may NEVER catch Bin Laden', and 'we are surprised at how tough the Taliban fighters are' and ' we don't THINK we are bogged down, we THINK we are making progress'....YIKES!!
This not only making us look weak and ineffective...but I believe is the reason so many have been emboldened to join the Taliban in their fight against the US...coming across the border in convoys.

We need to start kicking some serious butt, real soon.
