The basic bottom line is tht they make it out as if there were a conflict between evolution and religion, and that is BS. Religion has nothing to do with it; the conflict is between evolution and mathematics. In order to be an evolutionist, you have to throw everything we know about mathematics, logic, and probability theory in the toilet. Me, I'd rather keep mathematics around for a while, and flush evolutionionism on down.

I hope that people actually start thinking a bit more about things when they attack evolution. Do you attack biology? Do you attack chemistry? Do you attack physics? Do you attack genetics?

How many of you who deny evolution refuse to use computers, which cannot be built except by using the same scientific theories that enable us to date the Earth at being billions of years old?

How many of you who deny evolution refuse to accept medicine developed through our understanding of the way life functions?

I would bet that none of you truly understand what denial of the fact of evolution actually means. And that saddens me greatly.

Don't mean to pick apart your post but,
In probability theory, to compute the probability of two things happening at once, you multiply the probabilities together.

This is only true if the events are independent. (Which is an assumption evolution implicitly makes.) For example, suppose you have rolled a pair of dice. The probability that the total is 12 is 1/36. The probability that at least one of the die is a 5 is 11/36. The probability of both is 0.
