The UN wants them with their own culture, but who in their culture will adopt them? Just like here some want black kids with black families, but there aren't enough black families to go around. It's sick that the UN would rather see these kids die in Afghanistan than be adopted by Americans.It is sick--it is truly...I just don't understand it, from an organization that supposedly "has children's best interests" in mind. Hah! I think kids need love & stability--and in the case of the Afghan kids, food--other "interests" are much lower in terms of need.
a "goodbye" bump--got to get them in the bath, and my son wanted to type "goodbye," so here goes. Now he wants to know what a "bump" means. Hmm. It took me a while to figure that one out.... :)
