Thanks for the thought-provoking scenario. You, of course, are assuming he and his henchmen are still alive. :) I have been telling my wife and friends for three weeks now that he may already be history. How long have some of our best SF folks been in the country now? How many top-notch snipers are there? My contention is that he's already gone, and now either Omar or top officers are running the show. And I think the fat lady is about to sing over Afghanistan. We need to completely seize control and implement a government for the people, then continue to Coalition-build and defend our Homeland. I have a gut feeling that the worst is behind us.
