Great piece. However, if you want news for adults, I recommend catching the evening feeds from both ITN and BBC World. Do it for a week and I promise you will never feel the urge to look in on Brokaw, Jennings or Rather. In fact, if you do go back after a couple of weeks, you will not be able to handle the glitzy format of NBCABCCBS.

ANY criticism the captain gets is richly deserved IMO. The fact that this Burns guy missed the call on the other two blind mice is curious though. I wonder about HIS planet of origin, too. You are right...Jennings..Brokaw...PROFESSIONAL????? Brokaw said of Bush just as he took the megaphone at ground zero,"He made a fortune in baseball." ...Why did he have to say that at that moment, or any moment? Hillary was there too...Brokaw didn't say,"She made millions with a book deal."
