As it appears, this is an issue of security clearance, not the person's religious background. Security clearances are usually pulled for a very good reason, not least of which because they are so expensive to obtain. It seems only you, your buddies here, and the Jerusalem Post are making it into an "anti-Semitism issue." I don't care what the guy's background, if he has violated the rules he needs to have his clearances yanked. That would go for white-bread types, blacks, Hispanics and so on and so forth.

Back in 1962, JFK transferred General Edwin A. Walker from being in charge of our troops in Europe, because he was an aggressive right-wing member of the John Birch Society. Some officials were afraid Walker might do something rash to start a war with Russia.
Walker was later used as a model by Hollywood to represent the crazy general type in Dr. Strangelove, and Seven Days in May, and "Spies Like Us".
