I would like to know much more before I'm willing to bash Rumsfeld and Co.
The major in question going immediately to press is not a favorable sign. IMHO
The Bush administration is replete with some damn good conservative Jews who I'm very happy with (as opposed to the crowd Clinton dragged along)...I just don't buy all this anti-Jewish stuff...yet. The irony at the State Dept. is that many of the Arabist lackeys are indeed Jews themselves. One could say the same about Pali sympathizers in the media.
LOL. So....this is your swan song?
The Center for Disease Control. What you "like" spreads AIDS.
Lovely response.
What's the differenc?
And I might add that the Army major as far as we know has done nothing wrong...while Ames and Hanssen...well...you know. I mean the wingnuts whine endlessly about Pollard - so sauce for the goose sauce for the gander.
Maybe that's why so many of them got lost!
What bothers me about it, though, is I'm sure we have Muslim spies in the military, too (as well as other areas of the government); but we wouldn't rescind their clearances for fear of offending the Muslims. Kind of ironic that we get rid of the ally and harbor the enemy.
Can you imagine anyone's being more "simpatico" than Abraham ... who was prepared to sacrifice his own son and submit in perfect trust and love to God's will ... whether he understood it or not?
The voice of the Jews as it rings through the ages in Psalms and other writings of the Bible is extraordinary, I think, for its zeroing in on, complaining to, hiding from, bartering with, relying on, trusting in and longing for God in a most direct and personal and loving way you just don't see in any other civilization even though theirs is a universal experience. They are special. How could Christians possibly not understand the perfection of Christ's birth as a Jew?
But I just see no reason to extend my regard for Judaism to the State of Isreal, that's all ... particularly given the latter's supposed "religious" signifance which seems to me at absolute odds with the facts of its founding, not to mention the decidedly secular and political in origin "Star of David" on its flag.
LOL. So....this is your swan song?
LOL! No, Im not a racist. How about yourself?
Just because I dont think Mexico First, and I dont care for Mexicans in this country who place Mexico first on their political agenda, that doesnt mean I dislike Mexicans or Hispanics. In fact, Ive traveled to Mexico many times on vacations and mission trips.
What you guys try to do is make people who disagree with you in any way seem like racists. This is an old propaganda trick that was perfected by the Marxist-Leninist Communists in the early 20th Century.
People like Jesse Jackson use this technique too. He calls anyone who disagrees with him in any way a racist, even if the disagreement doesnt have anything at all to do with race.
This is nonsense. After the Emancipation Proclamation in 1863 the war was very much about slavery. The second part of your sentence makes no sense however I read it. England was a leading voice against slavery and the slave trade by 1860 and never recognized the Confederacy. I expect the "irregulars" (such as Quantrill) would be classed as terr*rists today (although they would no doubt consider themselves freedom foghters) but they were active thoughout the war, and indeed before and after the war.
People should not be residing in another country and influencing our elections (unless on some kind of foreign service).
It is sickening to hear people being labeled anti-semitic or a proponent of Nazi-ism for espousing anything less than 100% support for Israel. It is a manipulative, shameful way to deal with people who ask questions that need to be asked.
Why can't we examine Israel's actions toward the Palestinians? Why can't America demand that her citizens not have dividing loyalties? Why is questioning what Israel does labeled "un-American"?
