I respect the Office of President regardless of the ideology of it's occupant. But the person holding that office must be deserving of that same respect, not someone who committed treason by selling nuclear secrets, pardons et al. As to defending "Leaky" Leahy, I guess that extends to him as well - both of them are traitors.
