I think very few people really think Islam is peaceful. Just like I think most people know deep in their hearts that abortion is murder. The problem is, they're too overcome with fear and P.C. guilt to say (let alone do) anything about it.
Atticus, did you ever get back to Udupi Village for dinner since this thread was started months ago? That restaurant has been doing great business with their healthy fare. The owners are good, genuine, stand-up, pro-American people.
