We can't see you. You could be a spitting image of Yassar Assofat for all we know. Where did your family originate?

Thanks for the post. It's a great idea. Another great idea is to form neighborhood watch groups and become involved with helping defend your own local turf. Our group meets montly and it really helps bring all of us together as a neighborhood. Know thy neighbor.

Not only a good idea to have neighborhood watch meetings, but a great way to further community, of late the parent of the dying art of citizenship!

Imagine if someone had snapped a photo of Atta having lunch last year with a few moslem arabs who are still at large, and unknown? Hang out with the liberals at the Middle Eastern restaurants - I did this with my girl friend and wish I had a camera at the time. Three very loud arrogant Middle Eastern guys came in all wearing new looking matching leather jackets. They all looked similar to the animals in FBI poster. A picture of this crew would be useful if one of them turned up on future FBI posters.
Middle Eastern restaurants ought to be a rich source of associations. Most customers are families and others that don't standout much. But the few that do really are obvious. If you want to find them, you have to go were they are.
I'm trying to imagine our government allowing foreigners from Germany and Japan to enter our country on green cards during the WWII. If we declared war, why are we allowing the enemy to walk among us? Why havent all non-citizens from terrorist harboring countries been told to leave?!

It is amazing, like having German Nazi SS Stormtroopers coming over on "student visas" in 1942.
Our cameras need to be put to maximum use!

WV is VERY close to where some of those suspected with aiding and abetting the 9/11 terrorists lived. There were several (I've seen everything from 14 to 25 in the newspapers) who were LIVING in Middlesboro, KY at an apartment complex near the hospital! They were apprehended, finally, somewhere in the northern part of KY (made the Louisville and Middlesboro papers).

Here's one from Nashville:
I work on the ground floor of a building that sits directly behind the building where Sen. Fred Thompson's office and the local FBI offices are located. About 2 1/2 weeks ago, two middle-eastern men WALKED into our parking lot, came up under the awning on the front of our building, pulled out a map and began leaning forward to look and point towards the building next door. This went on for three or four minutes before someone from our office finally walked outside and inquired whether he could be of some assistance. One of the middle-eastern man turned to our co-worker and said, "No, we just lost". They then hurriedly walked back the way they had come!! We called the FBI and were given another phone number to call if these guys ever show back up.
It was probably nothing but, we felt better after having followed up on it as well as we could.

This thread by MHG pretty much covered what I meant to do, and now I am going back into "lurker mode" while I get back on track to finish my RKBA novel, which is now re-formatted somewhat to deal with the post 9-11 realities.

Sounds good to me, but I have to be carefull because of my job with INS. I already get alot of heat from the sups. My only saving grace is that I'm vested and a Vet.
To: Travis McGee
Do you mean strick, cold turkey lurker mode? You'll miss us, get the shakes, and come running back. Weeeellll be waiting. Just one post, really, you can stop anytime. ;-)

Wow, looking at my post I suddenly realize how many mistakes one can pack into one line. Strick? turkey lurker should be cold turkey, lurker mode, etc. Oh well.
