Chinese soldiers in the Panama Canal! LIVE Webcam! - Thread #5
Webcam at Miraflores Locks ^ | Published: 24 hours Author: Panama Canal Authority (Communist China now controls the Panama Canal)

Posted on 10/19/2001 9:28:34 PM PDT by ChaseR

Beginning with this Thread #5, all posters are now invited to post - Yes or No - to the following three questions:

Question #1 - Yes or No - is it possible that China has already/is presently/or will in the future - bring weapons, munitions, arms and short-range missiles and/or medium-range missiles (or missile parts) into Panama? Yes or No, is this possible?

Question #2 - Yes or No, is it possible that at some point in the future, Communist China might instruct Hutchison/Whampoa to stop U. S. ships from traversing the Panama Canal? Yes or No, is this possible?

Question #3 - Yes or No, is it possible that Communist China is already or will in the future - store short-range and medium-range missiles in containers in the holds of COSCO ships and have any such ships - come and go - into the Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers - and or - leave any such ships with missile parts - docked for extended periods of time - in Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers? Yes or No, is this possible?

(as these ongoing threads continue- more questions will be added)

Bill Gertz is excellent and he did tons of research for the things he wrote. Black Jade wastes gray matter trying to object to what Gertz has written. I still say..Jade is a defender of RED China.Jade protestes too much in objection and wanting even more proof after all the books and articles have been writiten. amazing.

BUMP to you my friend ChaseR!!!!!!

In many a "trash Mexico" threads, I have made the statement that Mexico IS our border, not some imaginary line drawn in maps. The ChiCom will march up from Panama, through Mexico and into Texas untouched unless Mexico is strong, armed, and on our side.

But we pump dollars and business into the PRC, while calling Mexicans "parasites" and "scum"...they will feed and house the ChiCom on their way to Galveston, and America.

And they will laugh while doing it.

"but he has not presented any facts or evidence to back up the assertion that the PRC is bringing missiles into the Panama Canal."

Yes, I think I'll go with Gertz instead of some Communist sympathizer. (Yes or No Jade, Confirm or Deny)

Never mind the canal, do you relize that Hutchison Whampoa are presently in Freeport in the Bahamas, which is only 55 miles from USA. They own the container port, the harbour, the airport (they are also building a new airport) and 80% of the land, as they are partners with the port authoity which has an agreement with the Bahamas government for 50 years. Therefore just like 911 we will be looking one way and we get an uppercut. Bump !!!!!!!!!!

This is a very important observation. Thank you. HW is buying up territory left, right and center. Time to support the Bahamas in nationalizing all HW assets I think...

US BALKS AT COMMITMENT TO SELL TAIWAN NEW SUBMARINES
BEIJING PROVIDES PAKISTAN NEW ADVANCED WEAPONS SYSTEMS

October 7: The first batch of advanced Russian-built 38 Su-30 MKK fighters will be delivered to China by the end of this year, Taipei Lien-Ho Pao reports. The main force of those fighters will be deployed at Wuhu Air Base in Anhui Province and a part of those fighters will be deployed at four bases in Fujian Province early next year. The deployment could alter the air superiority situation over the Taiwan Strait.

At present, a large number of Communist China's pilots are undergoing intensified training in Russia, as more Su-30s will be delivered to the military of Communist China in the next two years. In addition, Beijing has ordered a production line that will be licensed to manufacture 50 Su-27s in the next three years. Su-30 fighter possesses powerful low attitude and air-to-ground attack capability.

In addition, Communist China is strengthening the deployment of medium and short range missiles in Fujian and Southeast coastal areas. A well-informed source said the total number is currently around 300, while missile production is actually increasing.

October 25: Taipei's efforts to get Washington to commit on paper to its promise to sell Taiwan eight diesel powered submarines have proven unsuccessful, the Taipei Times reports. According to a Taiwan defense department source, navy representatives have visited the US twice in the past six months in an effort get a contract signed. But Taiwan and the US have yet to come to an agreement on several points. One problem is that the US -- which no longer makes diesel-powered submarines -- cannot find a country willing to provide a design.

According to the latest issue of Defense News weekly, the US has invited qualified shipbuilders -- including state-run China Shipbuilding Corp -- to propose by the end of October alternative plans to build the eight subs. "The difficulty that the US is now faced with is tremendous," the defense source said. "That's why they don't even want to sign a memorandum of understanding with Taiwan on the submarine purchase."

October 26: Since mid-September Beijing has supplied Pakistan with advanced weapons including anti-air missiles, communications facilities, and tanks in order to deal with the threat of war, the Hong Kong Sing Tao Jih Pao reports. Among the weapons delivered, China provided the Pakistani army with the LY-60N ground-to-air missile, a navy-based medium-to-low range, all-weather missile system. It is used primarily to intercept up to 40 military aircraft and missiles flying at medium-to-low range. The system uses a semi-automatic consecutive wave-induced guidance system, and has strong fighting, interception and disruption capability. China has also offered Pakistan ground-to-air missiles which could be used by the army. The two types of missiles are reported to be the most advanced air defense missiles in China. [Editor: The "war threat" is focused on India and efforts by any nation that would target Pakistan's nuclear weapons systems.]
