Beginning with this Thread #5, all posters are now invited to post - Yes or No - to the following three questions:
Question #1 - Yes or No - is it possible that China has already/is presently/or will in the future - bring weapons, munitions, arms and short-range missiles and/or medium-range missiles (or missile parts) into Panama? Yes or No, is this possible?
Question #2 - Yes or No, is it possible that at some point in the future, Communist China might instruct Hutchison/Whampoa to stop U. S. ships from traversing the Panama Canal? Yes or No, is this possible?
Question #3 - Yes or No, is it possible that Communist China is already or will in the future - store short-range and medium-range missiles in containers in the holds of COSCO ships and have any such ships - come and go - into the Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers - and or - leave any such ships with missile parts - docked for extended periods of time - in Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers? Yes or No, is this possible?
(as these ongoing threads continue- more questions will be added)

CONCUR . . . HOWEVER, I WONDER . . . has burnout on trauma or potential traumas already started to set in? A head in the sand can FEEL a lot warmer and safer.

Well here is my opinions:
Question #1 -
Yes China has already brought weapons, munitions, arms and short-range missiles and/or medium-range missiles (or missile parts) into Panama
Question #2 -
Yes it is possible -and I believe highly probable - that at some point in the future, Communist China might instruct Hutchison/Whampoa to stop U. S. ships from traversing the Panama Canal.
Question #3 -
Yes it is possible that Communist China is already - storing short-range and medium-range missiles in containers in the holds of COSCO ships and such ships have come and gone - into the Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers - and left any such ships with missile parts - docked for extended periods of time - in Hutchison-Whampoa leased piers.
Fred, we seem to agree here...:>)

I was in the Bahamas a few weeks ago, I wish I would have had the time to check this out.
I may go through the Panama Canal sometime in the next year, and will take pictures if I do. It is supposed to be pretty grueling going through those locks.

"I was in the Bahamas a few weeks ago, I wish I would have had the time to check this out." I'd like to go now...in fact, I should be able to save up enough funds to fly to the Bahamas this coming spring. I'll ck it myself. (and I'll ask if I can have a tour of the H/Whampoa facilities/I'll ask if I can inspect some COSCO containers - ramdomly inspection of them)

I'm a newbie here, but I have eyestrain from allthe education I've absorbed about the Prc CLinton love affair. It's just so hard to sleep to now that I've started to notice all the COSCO trucks that I see here in good ole'Hotlanta.Kinda makes me wanna resume my career as a vandilizer specializing in COSCO.

There are many that have their heads in the sand just as there are those who have them somewhere where the sun doesn't shine.

BUMP for vigilance, my fellow Americans.
The largely undefended Gulf Coast would be an easy place of disembarcation for ChiCom operatives. Also, PRC naval vessels could easily move about undetected in the Gulf of Mexico and the Carribean Sea if the ships were dressed up under another country's flag and pretended to be some other sort of vessel.

Welcome viligantcitizen. You've found the right websight for All the news. Tell others about FreeRepublic.com.
And yes, there are quite an abundance of COSCO containers down at the Panama Canal - and no one to inspect them. Nor anyone to inspect COSCO ships - to examine the containers down in the holds of these Communist ships; which are now allowed to be semi-permanently docked at Hutchison/Whampoa leased ports at the Panama Canal (and also at the Hutchison/Whampoa leased ports - in the Bahamas!)
