Not if it includes the Cherokee tribes who donated to the DNC with funds from the Federal Government so that Babbitt and clinton would favor them. Their donations were illegal BTW!

"...but I suspect another large piece went to Bob Rubin's Plunge Protection Team."

I've also wondered about the source of the suddenly discovered "discretionary account" that funded Clinton's bail out of Mexico, as well...

Filed in 1996 on behalf of 300,000 American Indians, the class-action lawsuit claims the government squandered at least $10 billion from the trust fund and possibly several times that amount.

Another rip off to re-elect Clinton . It costs that much to buy the votes!
It appears the minorities DO suffer more under democrap rule after all, aye?

Did they ask Clinton were the peoples money went? Would he be able to "recall?"

The reports said the Interior Department failed to make progress toward the court-ordered historical accounting, knowingly misled the court about the status of trust reform, destroyed and withheld evidence, failed to protect whistle-blowers adequately, hindered the court's investigators and failed to provide necessary leadership.

Sounds like the impeachment trial.....lied to a grand jury, denied a citizen her day in court, false afidavits, terrorized witnesses,is,.....

Good detail, but you left out the part where Oklahoma Indian Nations were stripped of their tribal lands when the politicians declared Oklahoma Indians citizens, and booted them off their treaty lands.

It's time to privatize the whole mess. Let the Indians fend for themselves. The problem is that there are a large number of Indian leaders who have been bought off and have come to depend on handouts, which the can in turn hand out to their supporters.

Maybe Gale Norton will be able to straighten out the mess. She certainly won't be worse, or more corrupt, than Bruce Babbitt.

Gale Norton may have replaced bruce babbitt, but his crew is still in place. I am very disappointed in the President, and Gale Norton. ALL of the babbitt/klintonista enviornmental terrorist, land grabber, Department Heads in the Dept of Interior should have been replaced by now.

I've always felt that this was where the Clinton cartel got most of its domenstic "walkin' around money".

And it should be the white man's burden to keep their leaders honest? With our political appointees and socialist bureaucrats?

Privatize it. They elect their tribal leaders. Let them deal with it themselves and stop blaming us.

I hope the Indians win this one. It's time for the crooks to be held accountible for their theivery.

If only ALL the crooks and thieves in the Klintoon administraton could be caught. Now that would be something.

It's time to privatize the whole mess. Let the Indians fend for themselves. They can get a pack of lawyers and accountants like anyone else. Leaving this money in trusts with the government is idiocy and defrauds the Indians. They'll do better if they control it themselves and we conservatives would be better off if these funds weren't available for abuse by socialist bureaucrats.

Every single tribe that has gone private has done a hell of a lot better then the other ones. Infact the poorest people in this country are in the BLM's clutches.
