We must remember that most of these people are uneducated, and that their only idea of history, politics, the West, and national identity, comes from mosque-run propaganda. Human beings always believe what they are told, if they have no access to free knowledge. One questions only if one is brought up to question. This is the danger ahead. Millions of poor,ignorant people, determined they hold some kind of godly truth. There should be no attempt to "make them understand", or to show try and show them we are really the good guys here. It's NOT POSSIBLE. Their uneducated minds are collectively made up and it's too late to stop it.
So no more questions about "Why do they hate us" should be acceptable. Analysis of our foreign policy for the past 50 years should not be on our agenda. The only thing to focus on right now should be the survival of freedom and our way of life.
I am more worried about the educated ones than the illiterate masses. The illiterate masses do not as rule stir up the crowd into hysteria. Bin Laden was Oxford educated. His top lieutenant was trained as a surgeon in Egypt. The madman Assad in Syria is an opthamologist. Look out from an educated barbarian.

Aristotle would never have cravenly turned away from the human duty to analyse the roots of the problems. We owe it to our capacity to reason, don't we? Isn't that an important part of our freedom and our way of life?"
