Tonight on the Atlanta local news (WSB) there was a live report of two men taken into INS custody after being seen "hanging two video cameras" (I believe was that was the reporter's statement, I got the impression that they were attaching them to a streetlight pole or something (I don't think the reporter had a full understanding of the facts either). Anyway, they were confronted by the cops and said they were filming for a "traffic study". The view they were seeking was of a subway station and a major street. Reporter mentioned they were "large" video cameras. I won't pass any judgements on the nationality of the suspects shown, but INS was shown going in, apparently to question them. I said "custudy" earlier, but I can't say for sertain they have been formerly arrested, although they were shown being escorted into what I assumed was the police station.

I just searched for a posted article on WSB-TV website but there is nothing yet, but this is an amazing coincidence.

Yeah: "traffic study", right. After what happened on 9-11 with the WTC, AND before that -- with all Atta's "practice runs" on airplanes, trying to enter a cockpit, I would hope people start paying more attention to what goes on around them.
