TWO WORDS: Socialism and Communism!
And I am sick and f*cking tired of these so-called "Conservatives" falling all over themselves, defending any and everything that Republicans do in the name of "freedom".
Just this latest "Patriot" bill is a perfect example. These people are evil! The very fact that they would even name a bill, designed to destroy the Bill of Rights, "Patriot", shows the level to which these low-life Orwellians have sunk.
And you expect me to think it's OK? These things don't happen in one fell swoop. These tyrants know that it would send out alarms, even to the most retarded citizens. No -- these commies do it incrementally -- slowly -- so as not to alarm the dolts -- who actually think themselves to be patriots.
It takes a TRUE patriot to nip these things in the bud BEFORE the next incremental step is taken. So far as I've seen, there are ZERO patriots in the Democratic party, and VERY FEW left in the Republican Party. All the rest of the TRUE patriots have gone Libertarian.
I think a lot of the people that you would call unpatriotic are on the front lines of the war, or working hard for the country in many other ways. Now how do you explain that?
I don't think you see them that way because they're not as motivated as you are on particular issues that are important to you, like the "erosion of freedoms" issues.
Just keep in mind that your view of a patriot might be way too narrow. In the broadest sense, every loyal American that would never help an enemy of America, is a patriot. When they aren't as sensitive as you are to about certain issues, you seem to turn on these fellow patriots and see them as your enemy.
I think you should all re-think these kinds of basic thought patterns. We need all hands on deck RIGHT NOW, and it's going to very likely get worse. Re-think your disagreements with the government. Get rid of that cloud hanging over your heads all the time. Be happy for awhile about the positives. Take a fresh look in a month or two and you might enjoy a much better outlook on your country. Ya' know, it's not such a bad place to hang your hat.
