It is disturbing that two very liberal icons, Brokaw and Daschle, are the ones that have been attacked. Remmeber Brokaw refused to wear the flag, and Dasche is..well...Daschle.

Odd are its not, but if it is some conservative whacko, that will cause great damage to great causes.

Somebody claimed that during the Iranian Revolution the Shi'ites burned a PP office before attacking our embassy. I've yet to find any confirmation on this.

Could the term "Army of God" be used by a fringe Muslim, as well as by the fringe domestic terrorists?

Anthrax spores were found in a ventilation grill above the AMI mailroom, investigators told the crowd, and appeared to have risen from an opened package up to the grill.

I don't believe this, but do they mean fresh-air return vent or forced-air vent?

Investigators did not sweep the entire 66,000 square foot building, just the areas where employees had been exposed to anthrax.

Florida needs a central command now to take charge of all the health care ramifications and make sure proper and complete procedures are followed by all.

This is exactly what they want.
My theory: this is all at the hands of the terrorists and they are selecting targets based on 2 criteria:
1) Where can they spread the most fear?
Answer: attack the media because you are GUARANTEED mass coverage.
2) Where can they do the most harm?
Answer: By selecting politically sensitive targets they are forcing us to turn a wary eye inward. They are trying to pit the most extreme elements of our society against each other and thus break down our collective national will to continue the war effort.

If this thread is any indication they are succeeding in their 'divide and conquer' efforts.

It might be interesting to know WHEN in mid-september he went back to visit! Was it on the eleventh? And what was the gist of his conversations?

In my opinion, and I often have one, It seems as though the anthrax is being sent to those people or those institutions that are the biggest "infedels", or "pagans."
The right wing is usually considered the Christian right.
According to the "peace loving" Islamic people, Christitanity is its friend, but just lower in status.
According to the Killing Islamic group, at least the Christians here are not at the top of the list- for now.
The left wing is totally pagan, and therefore not anything similar to a religion that worships a God of the heavens. Which ever one it is, it's an "underground" diety.
To the Bin Ladin group, this is a Holy war.
They attack those they feel are the "unholyest."
A few packages may be sent to areas that have the rightous rights, but I still feel the goal is the pagans around them.
I just thought I'd add my "unbiased" opinion.

So, does anybody know when the letters to Planned Parenthood were postmarked? Was it after the AMI discovery? I ask, because it almost sounds to me like there is a terrorist threat, probably connected to 9-11, that is sending the "weapons grade" anthrax to Daschle & Brokaw, (and who knows who else will turn up), and a second set that's sending the cruder stuff that went to PP.

I ask because the letters to Daschle & Brokaw were postmarked so long ago and due to the volume of mail, etc. were just discovered.
