Cuncur with your post. Was this Joe Scarborough's district? No doubt it was a safe Republican district, but this is a BIG win.

One wonders what shivers must be running up the spines of the DNC as they look at this...

Oh, I don't know if this sends any shivers up any D's spine. This was like shooting fish in a barrel. The Rats won that Joe Mokley seat yesterday, it was Mass. after all. An interesting House race is the Arkansas Asa Hutchinson vacancy. That is an R seat in a pretty even state.

Look, the Nov. elections are going to be tough and 2002 elections are going to be tough. We've got the Virginia gov's race coming up this Nov. as well as the NJ gov's race. Currently, those are R states. The Virginia race is very close and in the NJ race, the Rat is currently leading (although the NJ Republican candidate is wonderful).

NYC will, in all likelyhood, go to Mark Green (D). NYC will then realize how truly f*cked they really are.
