"Memo from the office of the President
Date: 14 September 2001
To: Albert Gore
Dear Al: We found some more votes. You won. When do you want to take over?
Sincerely, George W. Bush"

I guess the electoral college is vindicated now.

Just to think this is the poll BEFORE Barbara Olson's book, The Final Days, hits the media outlets! The sink emporer's empire is sinking so fast, the rats won't be able to jump ship fast enough. How are they going to put up a defense while the country is at war and 90% united behind Bush? They can't unless they want to commit political suicide.

I remember when his dad's poll numbers were just as high during the Gulf War. Hopefully he'll do a better job than his dad did. If Osama and Saddam are still around and we're still experiencing attrocities in America come next election time he'll be a distant 2nd no matter who runs against him.

I'm waiting for some lame push poll to come out with the following question: "Do you feel you were safer under President Clinton or President Bush?" Maybe it's already been floated. You wait. These liberals will cool their heels a bit longer and then as the 2002 elections gear up, try to make the case that Republicans and Bush are to blame for terrorism and our increased vulnerability.

I'm sure this will be played up big on all the networks. Yeah right!

"Q. Who would you rather have sitting in the White House during this time of crisis, George W. Bush or Bill Clinton?"
Bush 72%
Clinton 20% How many of us have cringed at the thought of watching Clinton and incompetent team of RENO,ALBright,Gore...etc trying to handle this national/international crisis of historic proportions.
I know I would not be able to sleep at night, I would be so afraid with them in charge, at least I have confidence in our leaders which is some comfort.
Why Do I feel like the patriotic country I grew up in Finally coming back, and that will be our STRENGTH in this FIGHT!

They probably didn't poll Alec Baldwin or Barbara Streisand.

...all due respect to you haw, but who fookin cares about polls? I don't. Never have, never will. Shtt, I've
never been asked. "We asked 99 other people what they think , your the 100th, what do you think?" I think you should take that pole and stuff it somewhere! Uppp, wrong pole. I think you should ask 100 million more people.
...My question, who has never been polled?(rhetorical question)
To: hawaiian
President Bush 72%bill clinton 20%
That about says it all!

To: hawaiian
bwahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah!!!!!
Sorry all, but after nine years of Clinton-hating, it is nice to see that the American electorate has finally examined the facts. Funny how a little thing like a fight for national survival can focus the mind, eh?
I bet a similar majority now thinks that CHARACTER in a president is a CRITICAL necessity.

I think most folks would prefer a broken leg to WJC.
Maybe even two.
