Why don't you read the passage in question. Do you suppose the disciples were woken, spoken to, and all fell back to sleep while Jesus "stretched" while he "went away" and came back.

Let's just suppose the prayer took an hour. Jesus went away for at least an hour. By your logic there was a minimum of one hour between the repeat of the prayer. Hardly time for a "stretch" is it?
