I'm surrounded by Germans, Poles and Dutch. I'm about the only Italian in the phone book. I'm probably the only Sicilian Jew in the state of Wisconsin!

That means not only don't they know the difference between a calzone and a stromboli, they don't even care. Jeannette, on the other hand is Italian central. The local grocery store doesn't even bother with calling the aisle "ethnic" foods, it just says "Italian." You can't run for office if your name doesn't end in a vowel and start with a "De" or "Di."
