Ours has a cold and both ears are infected.

How do they get that screaming cry to be just the right frequency to resonate inside your head?

My wife went to Wal-Mart last night to buy some Ora-Gel and found that the continual child care, like the pregnancy, is the topic of discussion for whoever happens to be around. Like the old ladies will come up and rub your pregnant belly, they also don't hesitate to offer you advice. As she reached for the teething gel, she was told that she didn't need that. "Just get some whiskey"

I ask the parents here, did you use the commercial preparations or just use whiskey? Whiskey has the benefit of being comforting to mom and dad as well as to the baby. Maybe I'll have to swing by the state store today.

I don't know ... but my head is pounding this morning.

Y'know ... the night time Oragel works better than the regular stuff. Can't ... resist ... ... must offer suggestions ... ;o)

Baby gets the Oragel ... daddy gets the whiskey. Hey ... wave at a few Baptists while your at the state store! (I'm only kidding, Baptists ... just going along with the old joke)

Ah yes, the screaming frequency is just about right with a proper hangover. LOL.

We used infant Tylenol for cutting teeth, and whiskey for a cough:) Actually we have a funny story about that. My daughter I believe has a touch of asthma, as do I, and she would get a bad annoying (to us) cough often. One night my husband just couldn't stand it any longer. she was probably about 3 or 4, so he mixed her a hot toddy. Well it worked for about an hour, then she started coughing again so he gave her another. Well her and I were sitting on the floor together doing something and she said Mom I feel funny, my tummy is hard. About a minute later she puked real big. and then passed out. But she didn't cough anymore. Needless to say I was pretty annoyed at Big Mack, but of course he always point out that it did stop the coughing and we all slept better that night:)
