Sorry, I'm not familiar with them. Were you being sarcastic? Are they one of the "good guys"? Right now, the ACLU and such are trying to not only force Catholic hospitals to perform abortions, but forcing the Church to pay for them on their insurance plan.

I was only being semi sarcastic. The Shriners Hospitals are the most famous Burn hospitals in the world. Paid for by the Masons. The sarcasm part is that a burn hospital doesn't concern itself with abortions.

One very serious point I'd make is it appears to me the Catholic Church spends entirely too much of it's time and resources publicizing it's charity. Is all this necessary? What are you trying to prove? NC's give as much, or more, to charity, perform public service, and accomplish just as much as RC's do. The major difference is they don't go around blowing their horn "Look at me. See all the great things I'm doing". Sheesh.

It's a question, Steven. Is this your contention, that every person (except JEsus) sinned at some point in their life?

Maybe there's a pause. Maybe we haven't taught "all" the nations yet.

Stop spinning, Dave and admit that YOU'RE ALL IN LEAGUE WITH THE DEVIL!

You said: But once you get to know the catholics in here you'll have step in line and look at us lowly non-catholics as being invincibly ignorant. One more thing, you'll find most non-catholics in here well aware of catholic teachings which, speaking for myself at least, is why I choose not to be.

I have yet to find one noncatholic that knows anything especially that of catholic teachings other than bullying. When you and others can refute the teachings other than resorting to continue personal attacks of catholics, I might begin to think you may know something.

Guess I'd better post this again.

Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

Back from my meeting with a professor knowledgeable in Hebrew and Hebrew history on the meaning of firstborn and will have a report on it tonight.

Do you know Havoc? If it weren't for him, this topic wouldn't have come up. So blame him and his "the Catholics show only evidence of following the devil and no evidence of following the SPirit of the Lord God" BS.

Good grief man! If I said those types of things about Baptists or something I would hang my head in shame. You guys lap it up, then complain that we are bragging when we defend the "non satanic" things we sponsor.

Guess I'd better post this question again. Steven, does the verse you keep quoting mean this, or not?

Be a nice little militant catholic now and go back and look at the posts. You'll find that I didn't post this. Thank you so much. Hope you find the culprit.

Where can I go to get a list of the RCC doctrine, or do you call them sacrements?

I tried both in the CE, and found no listing with out reading countless pages of writings. Thank You JH

There ya go again asking questions that require obvious answers.

Newadvent.org The Universal Catechism or Baltimore Catechism on the left hand side will answer any questions you might have about the faith.

You are as bound to official decrees as you are to Papal Bulls, council judgements, and the catechism. Which means the decretals most definitely directly affected doctrine - among other things.

Again, unfortunately, you are incorrect. One is not bound to a decree until it is approved by the Pope. And there have been decrees not approved by Popes in years past.

If you are going to comment on the Roman Catholic Church, you will be asked to be accurate, specific and precise.

Why can't you just say "yes?" Do you need to be so difficult that it takes 4 or 5 posts just to get you to explain what you think a verse means?

So you think that everyone who was ever born (except Jesus) sinned at some point in their life. Right? You don't believe in an type of inborn "original sin" do you? Right?

Well now you confuse me. I thought the "fundamentalist" deconstruction was more, um "biting" than the "protestant" one.

I didn't object to the "Protestant" one either. I just took advantage of the opportunity to sneak in the correct definition.

You're not a noncatholic, you're a person who isn't Catholic. For this discussion.

He's not being difficult; he's just trying to buck up his post totals.

You see where this is at? Our non Catholic friends who just know the Catholics are wrong, who have spent months here debating things, don't have the slightest idea what a Sacrament is.
