Perhaps, one, or more of you, could call/e-mail Lee and Melanie (5-9AM) or Brian Wilson (7-9PM) tomorrow, Thursday, and Friday at KSFO so they can help get the word out about the rally Sat., 12 PM, at U.N. Plaza (7th and Market) in San Francisco. Thanks. : )

Keep this picture in your mind forever and the attack on the World Trade Towers, the death of those men, women and children stays personal forever! When you get a peacelover whining in your ear, this is the cure. Six posts from the left, in the middle of the picture you see someone holding an infant out of the building trying to give it fresh air. These folks are all dead now. Keep this atrocity personal!

If you guys know of any local groups-VFW, Vietnam Vets, NRA, etc. that could join your counter-protest, please post names/e-mail addees and Freepers will help contact them.

Right on, Bryan. My husband and I will be there. We'll bring a few extra signs in case any comes without. I think we'll leave our gorgeous huge flag at home, since I don't want to risk having it doused with gasoline... Flags are great, but since these morons see them as a symbol of warmongering, rather than the beautiful symbol lf everything this country stands for, signs are good too. Some suggested words for signs, for those who want to give 'em food for thought: Terrorism is not healthy for children and other living things :) What if they had a war and nobody came, except the terrorists? We make war that we may live in peace -Aristotle Support our troops: they defend your free speech American patriotism is love of liberty, not blind nationalism.

There has been a change in location for the march. They are now ending with a rally at the Civic Center Plaza, instead of the former location of the UN Plaza. Please let everyone know of this last-minute change!

Where should we meet then?

Ping!

I think we should just shift to the Civic Center Plaza as well, making sure to maintain our distance, of course.
Perhaps someone or two should stay at the UN Plaza to direct folks who haven't heard of the new location?

New location alert: We will gather in front of Bill Graham auditorium (Grove and Larkin) at noon, Saturday the 20th. (This is on the Civic Center Plaza). Bring lots of signs, water (gotta oil those pipes for some good shouting) and friends.
