We weren't rich by any means. Dad had to take a loan to get the computer.
The school didn't have much cash either. The only reason we had newer computers in junior high was because the computer\math teacher sold computers on nights and weekends. He did a lot for that school. I worked for him at the computer store and got a decent price on the system.
