Clinton must be gritting his teeth right now. He spent his whole eight years courting popularity, doing everything to remain in power. He lived and died by the polls and by focus groups. Then along comes President George W Bush who could care less about polls and focus groups to determine policy. And President Bush has the highest polls ever. And it doesn't matter to him. He is a true leader. And that is what Clinton will never understand. Bill had his chance to lead, and never did.
