I disagree.

Rudy should have accepted the $10 million check, then signed it over to the Israeli Mossad.

I thought you could get ten tomahawks for ten million.

Tough to say. My lone cite is from Pres. Bush's "When I take action," he said, "I'm not going to fire a $2 million missile at a $10 empty tent and hit a camel in the butt. It's going to be decisive." I'm not sure whether he was referring to the Tomahawk or not. Regardless, Giuliani could have leveled a few Taliban members' houses in the name of NYC... ;-)

Hallelujah for Giuliani!!!!......I was wondering how he would react yesterday when I heard the Prince was flapping his gator. It takes a lot more effort to give with dignity than recieve in these circles apparently.

Good for Rudy. The only thing better would have been for him to hold a press conference on the smoking pile of rubble that was once the World Trade Center towers, spit on the check, and ignite it in front of the TV cameras. Now THAT would have been something I would have paid to see.

America needs to increase its energy production right here at home and stop relying on nations in unstable regions of the world to supply us with oil. Open ANWR and increase drilling in the Gulf of Mexico immediately. America is at war and the less reliant we are on foreign energy, the better off we'll be in the long run.

I'm glad Mayor Guiliani rejected the offer from the Saudi Prince. Blaming America in any way, for what happened on 9-11 is an outrage.

Good for Rudy!! And yes, if Saudi is so worried about the Palestinians, why don't THEY make a homeland THERE in Saudi for them? Funny thing is, that Newsweek article "Why Do They Hate Us?" points out that Palestinians under Israeli rule have more freedoms and rights than do Arabs in most other Arab lands! What about that, Prince Whats-yer-face?

Sure would have liked a clearer headline on this, like Mayor rejects Saudi Prince's Donation.

I thought you were talking about the entertainer.

$10 million could also be used as the seed money for forming a group of mercenaries to takeover the Persian Gulf oilfields. Within a year the Group could pay for itself.

Let me see...We saved their butts during the Gulf War, We protect them from the Iraqi Evil One and etc. Now let me make sure I get this right...We can not use our own bases on Saudi soil, Americans are being treated badly, they refuse to meet with Blair, I come to two conclusions. Move our base to Israel and If they are not with us, they are with the terrorists!

Way to go Rudy! We love ya!

As soon as the oil runs out, and all their foreign investments are frozen, the Princes can get back to doing whatever it was they were doing before money corrupted them.

removed 279,821 tons of debris

What, do they weigh every truckload to the nearest ounce?

Giuliani refuted the prince’s words. “Not only are these statements wrong,” he said, “they are part of the problem.”

*applause*

Rudy should have accepted it and, right in front of the Prince, donated it to the local B'nai B'rith.

From another article on this:

At a news conference, Giuliani said, ``Not only are those statements wrong, they are part of the problem.''

``There is no moral equivalent to this attack. There is no justification for it,'' the mayor said. ``The people who did it lost any right to ask for justification for it when they slaughtered four or five thousand innocent people, and to suggest that there is any justification for it only invites this happening in the future.''

``One of the reasons I think this happened is because they were engaged in moral equivalency in not understanding the difference between liberal democracies like the United States, like Israel, and terrorist states and those who condone terrorists,'' he said.

Amen.

The Saudi prince told the truth, we just can't stand to hear it.
Unless we learn from our mistakes we are doomed to repeat them.
Rudy (as usual) is playing the Showman.
Send me the money Prince and I'll see that the truth gets out.

If not for Israel, The World Trade Center would be standing tall and proud today.

Thanks Israel, thanks a hell of a lot.
