With your bracing "pull-no-punches" pursuit of answers to tough questions, you're the best appeal our innocent American prisoner of Monaco TED MAHER may have--after 766 days in solitary on an extorted "confession".
It's outrageous--but all too true--this Green Beret veteran and father of three young children hasn't seen them for three Christmases--and their mother has had to sell their home, car and belongings and must work herculean hours to support them.
Ted's CONGRESSWOMAN SUE KELLY (R-19-NY)[202-225-5441] has been working on Ted's behalf, writing Prince Rainier III of Monaco and Secretary of State Colin Powell--but still our Executive Branch has not got off the dime!
Monaco police framed Ted for the death of billionaire banker Edmond Safra December 3, 1999--they seized him, threw him in four-point restraint, deprived him of sleep and beat him for three days, kidnapped his wife and stole her passport, made vile threats on her and the couple's three children--to force him to sign a false confession in French which Ted does not read, write or speak.
