This is where the Bushes and I part ways. ""

If the $582 Million saves just 10 American soldiers' lives it will be worth it.

It might save us billions in military costs if it makes the difference in whether certain countries allow us to use their ports and air bases.

582 Million could save a lot more than ten lives if it went to OUR military.

Our military has been suffering for 8 years at the hand of the ex-impeached-rapist-in-chief. I want MY MONEY to support MY MILITARY, not some half-*ssed military from a third-world cesspool.

Freedom used to be worth fighting and dying for. If it has come down to the price of freedom being measured only in dollars, we're doomed.

I have a feeling you're right on this. At least that is Bush's motivation. Hopefully we'll get a good return on the investment from both a monetary and military standpoint.

Bow down before the one you serve.
You're going to get what you deserve.

Funny, the billions of dollars and food sent as humanitarian aid for years to numerous countries and nations didn't seem to help a damn bit did it! And what did we get from the "united" nations in return?

It might save us billions in military costs if it makes the difference in whether certain countries allow us to use their ports and air bases.
Ah, you are one of those kind. We don't really "need" cooperation, it is just "nice to have it" eh?
You sicken me somewhat rod.
