>Afghanistan's ruling Taliban made it clear on Friday that it has no intention of handing over wanted terrorist Osama Bin Laden to American authorities, despite the looming threat of a U.S. military attack on their country.

Thank you, Afghanistan. We needed you to refuse to hand him over in order to do what we wannt to do to you.

I'm just not sure how many countries we can REALLY count on?

It's time to show what our country stands for (and won't stand for) by going this one on our own. We can't wait for no stinkin' coalition and the constant squabbling about 'going too far'. This one's on us, and when it's all over, the oil fields will help pay for it all.

I never thought I'd say it, but I think a nuclear device detonated over Afghanistan would send a powerful message. After the mushroom cloud is shown on CNN we notify all Arab states that if one more hit comes against U.S., they'll be seeing some more clouds over their nations. We could start with Bagdad. Simply tell Bagdad that if they have any terrorist over here they'd be advised to call them home immediately.

Britain lost people too. They have offered assistance. I think we should accept.

No use of nukes before the terrorists use nuclear, chemo, or bio weapons. The chief utility of nukes is as a deterrent.

Why did Bill Clinton bomb the aspirin factory in Khartoum in August 1999, thereby preventing FBI interrogation of two bin Laden lieutenants that the Sudanese were holding? What did Bill Clinton not want the FBI to find out?

They only act as a deterrent when others know that you are willing to use them.
We have to hit them so hard that they cannot stand up again, with force so overwhelming that no one will be willing to ps off the big eagle ever again.

First, let's hunt down bin Laden and drag his butt to America. We're not going to find him if Afghanistan is in the middle of a nuclear winter. And do you really want him coming out of a fallout shelter in a couple of months and thumbing his nose at us, like Sadaam did ten years ago?

After you get bin Laden, then turn Afghanistan and the Taliban into a parking lot. But we've gotta get this guy, no matter what it takes.

I remember being against the Russians when they were fighting Afganistan, now we are considering the same and hoping for Russian support!
We do need to learn from the Russians mistake, no ground war.
