I've seen more than one of these articles. They shouldn't bother. I can write it for them:

America once did stuff that made these people mad. If America had not done these things, these people would be pleasant and happy. But now America must learn that if it does not agree with me, its people will die.

Reality check:

• Public policy should never be based in fear. If you respond to the biggest bully, you will be bullied even further.
• The Arabs will never stop terrorizing us. We could stop foreign aid and cut checks directly to the PA and be as isolationist as the libertarians want or invent a time machine and give Afghanistan to the Soviets. It doesn't matter because
  • There are Jews in our country.
  • We are not majority Muslim.
