Didn't even make the connection. You could be right. Maybe they had an inkling of something to come and needed the evidence ASAP. Obviously the obvious choices are obvious, but it could be any group.

Some group called "The Democratic Front for the Liberation of Palestine" has taken responsibility. I have never heard of this group before.

However the Israeli Gov't thinks it is the work of Osama Bin Laden.
