The Maine, Pearl Harbor, the Gulf of Tonkin... There is no doubt that terrorists have planned attacks like this for years. That doesn't mean that they happen. One must question whether our defenses LET them succeed with a plan like this. My understanding is that the Pentagon is better defended than to allow this kind of hit.
