It was good to see your father made it out safely. I was visiting the threads and saw it and was really hoping that he did. It still brings tears to my eyes to read and remember that day. And these eyes have seen plenty, and don't leak much, but that day does it every time. Peace and the safety of freedom to you and your family.

Thank you. Seeing the actual 9/11 threads again really brought back memories of that awful morning. It is also interesting to see that within minutes after the first plane struck Freepers were discussing possible links to Osama bin Ladin and even the possible use of anthrax.

I'm so glad about your father. I was just reading these threads for the first time; I don't even see where I have posted on any of these first threads. I remember just standing behind the sofa, staring at the TV.
