It's two months later. Rereading this thread shows freepers and FOX tend to get it right, and CNN doesn't. I wish the FOX team would spread out to different cities: do a Cheney. We can't risk having all of them in one city.

Spreading FoxNewsChannel's force out is a good idea. I would love to see FNC become hosted and anchored from Los Angeles for some of the night shift. They could develop a unique style where as the prime time shifts across our nation (or morning drive time shifts), they could roll the anchor desk from one time zone to the next. Imagine if a Hawaii based anchor team anchored a report at 9PM Hawaii Standard. That equals about 3 AM or 4 AM in NYC/DC. >{Spreading FoxNewsChannel's force out is a good idea. Basically, as the Honolulu evening anchors signed off at the equivalent of their 10 PM, the NYC guys could pick up again at 4 AM for the pre-open coverage.

They do have other bureaus in many other cities, and all they really need to get a signal out is a single satellite truck anywhere in the country. Even if total catastrophe came to Manhattan, Fox News Channel would survive. It wouldn't be pretty for some time, but the network would sputter forward.
