Would it be in total bad taste to have some of those horrid photos available to flash in the face of the anti-war demonstrators with an equally heart rendering caption?

It's a good sentiment, but all it would do is make those maggots feel good by reminding them about the happiest day of their lives.

Just looking at this thread brought back all the horror and rage I felt on that awful day. It makes me even more incredulous that there are people out there who rejoiced at what happened that day, and continue to do so. Lots of them turned up in DC last weekend to remind us of their presence - perversely, they may have done us a favor in doing so.

Thanks to all who bumped this thread. I wasn't a member of the FR family back then, and I'm glad to have a chance to see Freepers at their finest - doing what they had to do to get through the one of the darkest days in this great nation's history.

I cried on 911 as I was home that day and I have not checked but I think I was on this thread,there were many that day.I remember first hand reports from a freeper who works in Manhatten.I never want to relive that day,it was horrible.
